IPRA Requests
Notice: New Process Regarding IPRA Request Submissions
Effective April 15, 2024, the Patient Compensation Fund (“PCF”) will utilize the Office of Superintendent of Insurance (“OSI”) web-based portal (GovQA) for records request submissions pursuant to the Inspection of Public Records Act (“IPRA”).
Users will be able to track their request’s progress, receive updates and download responsive records. By managing all aspects of the IPRA request process through this portal, the goal is to make the process more user-friendly, efficient and transparent.
Please be advised that many public records regarding the PCF are publicly available at: https://nmcf.osi.state.nm.us/ and https://pcf.osi.state.nm.us/index.php/reports-and-records/.

Requester’s Rights:
Every person has a right to inspect the public records of the Patient’s Compensation Fund except those records falling within the exceptions listed in the Inspection of Public Records Act (“IPRA”), found at1978 NMSA Sections 14-2-1 through 14-2-12.
